A weekend full of B's....

Birthdays, Boating, Babies, & Bad food (delicious, but bad for you food) in Bridgeport. This was our busy, but very fun weekend spent in sunny eastern washington enjoying some much needed Vitamin D. First stop of the trip - Rusty's World Famous Burgers in Cashmere - a must stop if your heading over this way....

Sat. morning we took Gavin for his first boat ride with Grpa out to Lone Pine Island (literally an island in the middle of the Columbia river...facinating...see pic below)- note the batman life jacket. A little reminiscent of one of my fav SNL skits - fat man in a little coat! It was a little snug to say the least. Then it was off to Kaylee's 1st bday celebration - so fun to see her starting to walk on her special day. Great to see all the babe cousins together- what chaos we have to look forward to in the coming months/years. Had to leave the bday party a little prematurely - G threw a little a "I'm so tired" fit so we went back home for a much needed family nap. My fav thing lately. Fast forward to Sat. pm and we all enjoyed a crab feast and heath bar cake (recipe available upon request....tdf) to celebrate Lou-Lou turning 29! Happy belated bday Lex! Luv you sister.

On the way home Sunday we stopped over in Leavenworth for short walk and lunch at Uncle Uli's....Mmmmm. I will spare you the menu I consumed this weekend but lets just say diet starts today - as Hawaii is 16 days away. Ugh.
